Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nephrologist to join us in Kona, Hawaii. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive kidney care while enjoying the natural beauty and lifestyle of Hawaii’s Big Island. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative medical environment.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification or eligibility in Nephrology.
- Active Hawaii medical license (or ability to obtain one).
- DEA registration and current BLS/ACLS certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered, culturally sensitive care.
- Experience managing dialysis programs and working with diverse patient populations.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Interest in community outreach and patient education.
