Job Description
Excellent opportunity to join a practice of 5 nephrologists and 3 nurse practitioners in San Mateo, California in the heart of the Bay Area. Practice area is in the highly desirable area between San Francisco and the Silicon Valley. Practice is seeking a traditional nephrologist as well as a hospital-based nephrologist.
As a traditional nephrologist, you will see patients in office, dialysis and hospital settings and rotate weekend call equally. Competitive base salary and productivity. Other potential revenue streams and partnership track make this a great opportunity for those seeking a good work-life balance and future long-term practice.
This practice is also hiring for a hospital-based nephrologist to care for patients at two of the area community hospitals. Coverage of inpatient service will be on an every other week schedule with one week on service and one week completely off service (similar to hospitalist schedules). The nephrologist will cover hospitalized dialysis patients as well as renal consults.
